About Sweet Roots Bakery

Food made with love feeds the soul. Sweet Roots Bakery was born from family, faith, and a whole lot of butter. Baking has always been woven into my life. My grandparents both retired from Franz Bakery, and my other grandpa owned a small donut shop when I was growing up. Some of my earliest memories are the smell of warm dough, the clatter of pans, and the steady rhythm of people who poured their hearts into everything they baked. Those moments shaped me. When it came time to name this bakery, I wanted something that honored where I came from. Sweet Roots is a tribute to the generations before me — the family who taught me that real, honest food brings people together. The roses in our branding are in memory of my beautiful cousin Gabby, who battled cystic fibrosis her entire life with strength and grace. Her love, creativity, and joy inspired everything about the warm, floral style of Sweet Roots Bakery. And if you stop by on a weekend, you’ll see that this bakery truly is a family affair — my whole family is here, working side-by-side, helping me turn this dream into something real for our community. I want to give a special shout-out to my brother, who has believed in me from the very beginning. His support has been one of the biggest reasons Sweet Roots Bakery exists today. This bakery is more than a place to grab a treat. It’s my heart. It’s my history. It’s home.
